Diabetes: Pata de vaca might lower blood sugar levels. People with diabetes should monitor their blood sugar levels closely. If you have diabetes, it’s best to check with your healthcare provider before starting cow foot or pata de vaca.
Surgery: Cow foot or Pata de vaca might affect blood sugar levels. There is a concern that it might interfere with blood sugar control during and after surgery. Stop using pata de vaca at least 2 weeks before a scheduled surgery.
