XCATIC PEPPER FRESH CUT
Xcatic Pepper Freshcut a type of chile that is yellow in color with a mild sweet flavor. They can be used to add spice to many types of dishes and are often added whole to flavor foods as they cook or added as a garnish.
X-cat-ik is pale yellow chilis with an undulating cone shape. They are long, up to 4 inches (11 cm) but thin, no more than 1 inch (2 to 3 cm) at their widest part.
Often charred before use, and then included in a dish whole without peeling or slicing. They are particularly used in seafood and sea fish dishes, and in poultry stews. Sometimes they are roasted and then slightly pickled in bitter orange juice or vinegar.

After a few hours searching, I had come up with very little, except that this was a chili comes from the Yucatan Peninsula and is a C.Anuum. It is in some ways similar to the Hungarian Hot Wax or Guero pepper except it seems for the all-important flavor.
